Cute Bow Manicure

Heyy guys,  this is a quick post right from my office desk ;) :P.  I am interning for 3 months so i'm quite on and off with my posts. I try to post when ever i get time & since i'm attending my cousin's reception after office i wont get time to update a Manicure Monday post so thought of doing a quick NOTD post.

Maybelline Colorshow Nail polish in Orange fix

Heyy guys today's post is on the much raved Maybelline colorshow Nail Polishes.  I have 3 shades in this range check my haul post here. These little bottles look soo cute.. Well they dont just look good but also deliver their true purpose. Its one of the best polishes i have tried so far specially for the price you pay, its totally worth it I say..

I got these during the October month offer i guess when they were giving free nail polish brush on purchase of 2 color show polishes. (free stuff is always good ;) Right girls?I am yet to use the brush yet though.

                

Excellent formula. (clams to be gel based) and gives a very glossy finish. Even without a top coat you are good to go. Check out the above pic.

                                         

The color as you can see is a very pretty peachish corally orange which goes opaque in two coats. I love this color soo much. It instantly lifts up my mood. I cant stop staring at it LOL

Drys up quickly on nails and doesn't chip for 3 days on me and with a top coat it stays on for even longer.
Sorry about the slight chipping in last 2 pics. it dint chip i actually erased it unknowingly while wearing my gladiators as i was rushing for Sunday brunch with my girliees :) I got soo many compliments for this shade
(brownie points earned) which i wore with sheer super pretty peter pan top in emerald green.

PRICE: 75 for 6ml.

GOOD :

1. Lovely shade
2. Glossy finish
3. Excellent formula. (goes opaque in 2 coats)
4. Very economical. Value for money
5. 40 shades to choose from
6. Quick drying formula.
7. No chipping for about 3 days. and after that very slight.

BAD:

None for me.

Next I wanna buy Crazy berry, Constant candy, Hooked on pink or fiesta fuschia I'm so confused between the 2. Any suggestions girls??

VINTAGE FLORAL NAIL ART

Hello :)

Today I am here with a very pretty manicure design and a simple DIY tutorial. 

You will need:

1. Any 2 colors of your favorite nail polishes i am using yellow and red today

2. White & green nail polish

3. Few toothpick

4. Base coat

5. Fast drying top coat

Lets begin this super simple and pretty nail art design

STEP 1: 

1.Paint your nails with a base coat of your choice to protect your natural nails.

2. Then start off by painting your entire nails with a solid opaque nail polish. I have used yellow here.

3. Then just place one or two blobs of a darker polish, I have used red here. you don't have to be even just       place it randomly.

STEP 1,2 & 3

STEP 4: Take a toothpick and dip it in your opaque white  nail polish and lightly swirl it on your little circles of red starting from out and moving your way in. ( just like writting a 'C' with a lowerend a little curled inwards)

STEP 4

STEP 5: Repeat the same like 2 C's in a circles and then just draw a little V with your green nail polish.

Wait for at least half an hour to let the design dry and then seal your manicure and protect it from chipping  applying a base coat. It also ads a lovely shine to your nails. 

Voila there you go a very pretty and feminine manicure design. Looks so intricate but is super easy and simple to do.

My first online shopping experience

Helloooo to all the lovely readers of ATSL. I am super excited to write this post. As you all guess by the title that its my first online shopping and it had to be something really good and worth to be the first purchase so here it is, all ORGANIC & NATURAL skin care & hair products.

I shopped  from naturalmanta.com and it is a wonderful website with good & friendly Customer help chat box available to answer all your queries. How did i come across this? Well, since my skin is soo unruly i dint have a good moisturizer i was searching for a good natural moisturizer to treat my oily, acne prone skin on Google and came across this website. I shopped on 22nd January and Republic day sale was going on at that time so I took it to my advantage and made my very first purchase. And I liked the hair products in just 2 trials so much and also face moisturizer too, that i ordered 2 more of hair products and 1 moisturizer on 31st January which was the last day of sale eeee B-) *so happy*

I got my order in three different parcels from their 3 different warehouse in Chennai, Delhi & Mumbai.

1. Lass Naturals IHT 9 anti hair loss pack & coffee and oatmeal soap

2. Neev Aloe & Lavender body wash

3. Madhuban pomegranate face and body scrub

2. Lass naturals coffee & oatmeal soap.

3. Neev aloe & lavender body wash.

4. Aurva aromatherapy lemongrass & tea tree face moisturizer.

5. Madhuban pomegranate face & body scrub.  

As of now I have used the hair pack, moisturizer and scrub and i am liking it so far. I used the body wash once and found it too runny almost watery you can see the bubbles in the bottle on the right in the pic below.

I got all the products in a week. and my second order that is 2 anti hair loss pack & 1 moisturizer in just 3 days. Which is pretty good :)

Detailed review will be up once I use all these products for a month at least.

MAKEUP HAUL

So when everyone out there is painting the town red and single person like me is sleeping soundly on my cozy bed as i de stress from a long internship work schedule. So glad to get a 3 day long holiday after ages. I can go shopping, do all the stuff i had been delaying due to my hectic internship schedule, visit the parlor, etc. Anyways guysss here is another small haul post, most of them are makeup stuff except the body lotion.

NEON NAIL ART

Hey beautiful :) today i'm gonna share with you a very bright and vibrant nail art for which i have used the fast moving neon colors with a hint of black. A super cool way to color block ;)

Its super simple and easy to do and you dont need to be a pro to do this. The only tool i used is a tooth pick.

I used black to balance out the 3 neon color that i used in this manicure and to differentiate between each color.

Please ignore the polish on my cuticles,  forgot to remove it before clicking.

NAIL PAINTS HAUL

Hey everyone.. 

I know i disappeared for ages but now I am back on full swing :)... This is a small post of a few nail paints i recently purchased...

1. Faces All that glitters in #22 : A really nice Golden glitter polish.
2. Maybelline coloe show Berry sexy 004 : Berry purple with a pretty sheen in it.
3. Maybelline coloe show Orange fix 214: Corallish peachy orange. the color is sooo unique i totally love it.
4.Maybelline coloe show Keep up the flame 215: Lovely tomatoey red with slight orange untertones.
5. Yo xuan is a street find from a local beauty store: Neon green
6. Randomly picked Neon pink nail art pen. the color is sooo aahhh - mazingg.
