Juicy Chemistry Cell Construction Serum Review

Heyy beautiful :)

Today I am going to review  Cell construction serum from Juicy Chemistry.

I suffered from severe acne for almost 8 months and now that I have no acne I wanted something to help me reduce the stubborn spots & blemishes that acne left on my face.

Product Description: Formulated with highly effective ingredients, our serum helps repair mature, dull & damaged skin. Promotes tissue regenration. Helps regain elasticity. Reduces the appearance of wrinkles & spots. Fades and heals scars, stretch marks &acne spots. Removes toxins & water build up in the skin to give a fresher, more firm appearance.

Ingredients: Rosehip seed oil, Jojoba oil, Almond oil, Carrot seed essential oil, Lavender essential oil, Frankincense essential oil, Geranium essential oil, Neroli essential oil,  Helichrysum essential oil.

Those of you regular with my blog would by now know my love for All natural & organic skin care. I wanted something light yet something that can penetrate deep into my skin to reduce my dark spots due to acne.

So I chose to try this Cell construction serum since its main ingredient is Rosehip seed oil which is high in Vitamin C and helps to repair the skin with a boost of collagen production that gives a flawless & plump skin.

Second ingredient is Jojoba oil which is the only oil that is closest to the skin's natural sebum and is one of the the mildest oil out there to nourish any skin including oily. Yes oily skinned beauties can also use jojoba oil without leading to excess sebum production.

Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E which is known to add softness to the skin.

Lavender essential oil help in treating acne scarring.

Carrot seed Essential oil is rich in Vitamin A and other anti oxidants that repair & retain youthful skin.

All the rest of the oils mainly help in treating mature dull skin and to reduce signs of ageing with regular use.

Packaging: Comes in a tiny Glass bottle with a dropper cap. Makes the application so easy and gives you control on how much product you use.

Colour & Consistency: The fluid is neither runny nor thick. Its really light and fast absorbing and has a yellow colour as you can see in the picture below.

My Experience: Every night after cleansing & toning my face I take 4 drops of Cell construction serum to cover my entire face and neck (Yes your neck needs TLC too). I gently massage it into upward & outward motion. Then I press and pat it into my skin so that the oil penetrates faster & deeper. Gets quickly absorbed into the skin without feeling oily or leaving a greasy residue. I have used it for over 2 months continuously. And on just a weeks usage I noticed my skin become soft and supple. It has also improved the texture of my skin over time, I have also noticed improvement in my skin's texture post acne. My dark spot & blemishes started to fade leading to giving me a flawless skin.

While I am in my early 20's and do not have any wrinkles so I cant talk about the wrinkle & stretch marks part of its claim but it does smooth out my skin's surface.

Pros:
  1. Makes my skin soft & supple.
  2. Treats dull & tired face.
  3. Fades blemishes & spots on continuous use.
  4. Even out skin tone.
  5. Improved my skin's texture.
  6. Skin feels nourishes from within.
  7. Get quickly absorbed.
  8. Doesn't make skin look greasy.
  9. Made smile lines less visible.
  10. Must have for post acne skin healing.

Cons:
  1. All ingredients are not organic only some are. Although its a completely natural serum.
  2. Printing on the Label could have been better with proper spacing.
  3. Availability for some.

ATSL Rating: 4/5

Do I recommend? I would definitely re purchase magic potion and this will remain my night time skin care staple. Its a must have for all those who have dull, blemished skin. Great to treat dark acne spots and minor fine lines. For those of you who are suffering from acne you can try their Stop the spot serum.

  9. Hie.... even I am in my early 20's so no issues of wrinkles and fine lines. I don't even have any skin discoloration or pigmentation. The only skin problem I have is that i have a very dry skin. Do you think it will be effective in making my skin moisturized by daily application??

    1. It doesn't help with acne but with prolonged usage it will help to fade your blemishes. And i would recommend you consult a derm since you said you have hormonal acne. you can check out the pros & cons as the rating is on that basis. Thanks.

  13. Hi!
I have been using this since last 3 months and though it has brightened my complexion but has roughened my skin. Cam you suggest a juicy chemistry produ ct for improving my skin texture?

    1. It did? sorry about that. Although i dint face any such issue.I haven't used anything else from juicy chemistry yet. but a good tip to get rid of rough skin is to use a GENTLE exfoliator & hydrating moisturiser suitable for your skin tone. Hope this helps :)

  14. Sounds like a dream product. Says 8ml on your bottle. How long did it last you? I can't decide between getting the smaller bottle or the 30 ml version.

    1. I guess go for the smaller one to see if it works for you. Also these product have a low shelf life.

  15. I like the fact that you didn't comment on one of its claims to help lighten wrinkles. Being a 20-something, wrinkles are a far cry from the skin problems one experiences in this age group :)

  16. Hi. I heard that serum darkens the skin tone. Is it true? Plus do we have to apply moisturiser after the serum ?
