Manicure Tip : How to prevent cuticles from getting painted?

Heyy prettyyy :)

For today's Manicure Monday post I have a trick which will help you apply your nail paint in a neater and more polished manner.

Okay so how many times where you in a hurry and did your nails last minute? A LOT of times right?
That happens to me as well..

Of course you can clean up the cuticles after your done with the manicure but I personally feel so lazy to do that and more often than not i end up removing the nail polish from the sides as well. Pheewww requires too much patience.

Here is a trick you can follow each time you do a manicure which will not only ensure you don't paint your cuticles while painting your nails but it will also nourish your cuticles at the same time, giving your nails a professional touch.

SUPPLIES :

  1. Olive oil
  2. Q - tip (or) Flat brush

METHOD :

  1. Remove your nail polish using a nail polish remover to make them squeaky clean.
  2. Dip your Q- tip (Ear bud) in olive oil as its rich in Vitamin E and nourishes the skin and nails.
  3. Now apply it along the sides of your nails ie., on your cuticles so that they are coated thinly with oil
  4. Repeat this for all fingers and then start applying your nail polish or your favorite manicure design.

Voila!!! Now you have a super professional finish for your little piece of art :)

Lots of love,
Priyanka.
